You can hide behind it to avoid enemy fire and it fires lots of weaker shots from 6 points on it.
#STRIKERS 1945 ENDING FULL#
The bomb is a full screen attack by a large support bomber. All levels of the supershot have a duration of about 10-12 seconds active so they last a fair amount.

Charging to level 2 doesnt take too long although level 3 does take a while.

Because your assist bits are always flying around and blowing up stuff, you will almost always have meter for a level 1 supershot available. If you have full meter you can get two level 2 bits and a level 1 which just utterly dominate most targets. Placing these effectively is the only real trick here. The level 2 and 3 supershots chew thru all enemies very rapidly. All 3 levels are very damaging and can create wide lanes of space where they destroy hardened targets or clusters of cannons, as well as weaker enemies as they enter the screen. Keep in mind your secondary assist bits remain actively pursuing and shooting targets along with your main shot, when you use ANY level of the Super Shot. Level 1 is a single bit firing a stream of bullets level 2 places a pair of bits which rotate into each others radius effectively creating a stream of vulcan shots twice as wide as level 1 level 3 drops a cluster of four bits that orbit in a small circle, each firing its own vulcan bullet stream. This shot has amuch higher rate of fire than your assist bits normal rate. The super shot system places a bit in a fixed location on the screen firing a hyper vulcan shot straight ahead. At max power you end up dominating wide areas of the screen and can position yourself in less dangerous areas while your assist bits clear out more deadly s a bit like you having your own whole squadron to command. They can also each target multiple eniemies at once at different areas on the screen. Once that target is destroyed they move to anonther target and continue harassing the enemy. They can track enemies independently of you and will gang up on one single hardened enemy or gun emplacement in tandem. This doesnt seem significant initially but at max level you will have four of these assist bits on screen and they have the potential to become game breaking. The secondary shot is a bit fighter ( lets call them assist bits) that flies in tandem with your main craft and will line up on enemies and then attack with a basic forward shot. It is less effective against armored enemies. Its not heavy damaging but can keep a good area clear of 1-2 hit enemies at high level. The primary shot is a purple fan spread shot. Movement speed is okay, not slow but not super quick either. Hayate has no real deficiencies aside from how weak it is starting out.
